Vision Statement

Our vision is for all families living and/or working in Nassau County to have access to quality child care and early learning that fosters successful growth and development for every child.

As a Child Care Aware of America Quality Assured leading resource on child care and early learning experiences in Nassau County, the Council:

• Informs families about child care choices, indicators of quality and financial options;
• Supports the child care workforce through programmatic enhancements (education, health, safety and nutrition) and business development;
• Advocates for public policy changes that support families, the growth and development of children and the sustainability of the child care workforce; and
• Partners with community leaders, employers, public agencies and organizations to efficiently respond to and further develop the child care system.
